My response to the above:-      

Hi Cheryl    

I am afraid you have missed the point of my correspondence, I am not asking for help or intervention in my specific situation I am trying to ensure those MP’s like yourself in sectors of government or parliament in shadow positions are fully aware of the broader issues faced by my Mental Health issues, I am also using my situation only as an example and I am trying to raise awareness and engage those in positions of influence like yourself to at least support our causes when they arise in regards policymaking, and where possible ideally become a champion for our cause in the future!

His response to the above was to forward my original letter to the Department of Health to deal with, abrogating his responsibilities by using the oldest trick in the book, yes “passing the book”. 😦  

Totally missing the point of my correspondence to him in every way. I didn’t want personal intervention in my specific situation… 

I only used my own circumstances and experiences to demonstrate the issues faced by those in general with mental health problems.
